Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Evening Shift | 5x8 Hours (15:00–23:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulator roles across a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedic trauma, spine, neurosurgery, bariatrics, gynecology, and general surgery
• Assist with robotic surgical procedures utilizing Xi, SP, and DaVinci platforms
• Support laparoscopic and open abdominal cases as well as benign and oncologic procedures
• Provide skilled nursing care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Float between two connected campus locations within the same health system as needed
• Fulfill on-call requirements of 8–12 hours per month

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience with both scrub and circulator skills highly preferred
• BLS certification required at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations and float within skillset as required
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with robotic surgery platforms (Xi, SP, DaVinci) and craniotomy/neuro cases
• Strong trauma surgical skills in a high-acuity setting
