As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will document observations and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation with accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
