Location: Rochester, NY

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Certified OR Tech to join a multi-specialty Surgical Services department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive operating room experience across a variety of surgical specialties and be proficient in maintaining sterile technique while supporting complex surgical procedures.

Requirements:

• CST Certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted

Schedule:

• Either 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM or 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Flexibility to work either shift based on department needs
• On-call required
• Weekend and holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instrumentation
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide intraoperative support
• Assist with robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to optimize patient outcomes
