In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of various parts, components, and systems for machines, adhering strictly to specified work orders and quality standards.Schedule:1st Shift 6:00am-4:00pm or 6:30am- 4:30pm Monday through Thursday3rd Shift 7:30 PM - 5:30 AM Monday through ThursdayOvertime may be required on FridaysJoin an award winning team where growth is within reach!Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Assembler Details:Temporary position$ 16.00 to $ 17.28 / hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts available (Monday through Friday)Responsibilities:Accurately assemble and test parts, components, or systems for machines according to detailed work orders and instructions.Perform quality checks on assembled items to ensure they meet established specifications.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.Perform other assigned duties as required.Assembler Qualifications:A minimum of 3-6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience is required.Demonstrated ability to perform assembly tasks with attention to detail.Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to stand for prolonged periods during the shift.Ability to perform repetitive operations involving hands, wrists, and arms.Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 35 pounds.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employmentA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
