Packaging Line Technician

Pay: Starting at $26.98/hr
Shift: 2-2-3 Rotation, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

About the Role

Church & Dwight is hiring a Packaging Line Technician to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. You'll run machines including the un-scrambler, filler, case former, case sealer, Hartness case packer, and palletizer/stretch wrapper, while performing autonomous maintenance to keep lines running at targeted OEE rates. Full training provided upon hire.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate equipment to meet quality, scheduling, and customer requirements
• Follow standard work and participate in machine set-up and changeover functions
• Verify materials and components to ensure quality standards are met
• Participate in line troubleshooting and problem-solving activities
• Perform autonomous maintenance functions: cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tightening
• Operate auxiliary/support equipment
• Use company software and electronic systems to support line operations
• Identify areas of waste and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area aligned with 5S standards
• Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Good communication and organizational/time management skills
• Ability to work well with others across the team
