Relationship Banker ISalary Grade: 12RSUMMARY:In this customer-facing role, the Relationship Banker I will provide exceptional customer care to the Bank's customers assisting them with banking transactions, addressing inquiries and assisting with problem resolution at a full-service Cape Cod 5 Retail Banking Center location.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops rapport with customers, greeting customers by name, understand account ownership types and authority, being responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, while display a caring attitude (GUEST philosophy)Provide excellent customer care to customers relative to daily transactions, addressing inquiries, and problem resolution, in accordance with Bank policies and proceduresPerforms basic banking transactions including processing deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, check cashing, money orders and treasurer's check issuance and savings bond redemptionSafeguards customer trust by upholding duty of customer confidentialityWorks to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the Bank's products and services offered, taking responsibility to request assistance for further development needsMust comply with all required laws, regulations, policies, and proceduresTimely completion of all assigned learning activitiesActively participate in Banking Center meetings and one-on-one coaching sessionsParticipation/volunteerism in community groups and eventsAdditional duties as assignedEDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree preferredEligible for Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registrationEligible for Notary Public commissionKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Minimum six months' cash handling experience preferredMinimum six months' customer service experiencePrior customer relationship building experienceCyber security awarenessStrong verbal and written communication skillsCritical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skillsMust have cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and customersCOMPETENCIES:CourageTechnology Savviness/Digital EnthusiastFinancial ComprehensionAdaptability and FlexibilitySales AptitudeEager and Agile LearnerQualificationsEducation:Required Associates or better.High School or better.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
