We have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.Position Summary: To be able to build loads in an orderly, safe, and time-efficient manner.Duties/Responsibilities:Move finished product off the line.Rotate product in warehouse when bringing new product.Bring empty materials to the line.Move caps, glue, and empty bottles to the line.Load box kipper with preformsOperate palletizer and blow molder as well as startup and shut down properly.Preform blown bottle QC testing as neededAble to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.Education/Experience:High-School Diploma/GEDMust be 18 years of agePrevious Forklift experience is preferredRequired Skills/Abilities:Communication SkillsDexterity SkillsProblem SolvingMust be able to learn and operate all machinery on the can/bottle line.Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers and to operate equipmentMust be certified by Chesterman Company Forklift TrainingWork Environment: Ear protection is required in production areas. Eye protection required while on forklift. Must wear hair/beard net in designated areas.
