Apply now!**Location:**4067 County Road 130 - Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311-9359**Position Summary:**As the Associate Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing both strategic and tactical support to both the business and the HR Business Partners. Under the guidance of the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing HR support to a small department of employees. This includes performance management, leadership coaching and training, employee engagement, employee relations, and progressive coaching. In this position, you will support, engage, and partner with the broader HR organization to support the execution of the strategy, including leveraging the functional expertise and resources of the Centers of Expertise (COEs) and Shared Services. **You will contribute by:*** Implementing HR programs that support the business objectives and key performance priorities of the business unit.* Coaching and advising leaders on talent development and performance management.* Participating in the annual talent review process and partnering with leaders to develop individual development plans.* Under the guidance of the HR Business Partner, driving key HR initiatives, including talent management, succession planning, performance management, and salary reviews.* Under the guidance of the HR Business Partner, managing and resolving employee relations issues.* Preparing for and facilitating new hire orientation. **We’re searching for candidates with:*** Knowledge of Human Resources-related laws and regulations is a plus.* Experience with onboarding and orientation processes.* Familiarity with state labor laws and leave of absence (LOA) management.* Experience in a warehouse or fast-paced work environment is a plus.* Ability to establish credibility and influence front-line leaders.* Effective verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to work collaboratively across functions.* Ability to manage multiple projects.* Experience in data analysis with the ability to draw preliminary insights.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate-level expertise in Excel.* Familiarity with Google Suite and Workday is preferred but not required.* 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.* Experience conducting workplace investigations.* Some experience working with labor unions is preferred.* Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.* Willingness to travel 10% of the time.**Physical Requirements:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
