Shipping ClerkFor 80 years Rice Lake Weighing Systems has been a successful, growth-oriented company known as a leader in the weighing industry and our community. Located in scenic northwestern Wisconsin just 90 miles from Minneapolis, RLWS offers big city careers in a small-town atmosphere. We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping team.The Shipping Clerk will perform the following tasks and functions:Process paperwork including customs paperwork, Shippers Export Declaration, NAFTA, SGS inspections, Certification of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Caribbean Common Market, Bills of Lading and othersAssist with allocating labor between the packing stationsTroubleshoots issues pertaining to sales orders, inventory discrepancies, and electronic processingEfficiently utilize all internal shipping software to complete all tasksAll other functions as assignedThis position is Regular Full-Time with a core schedule of Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Will work 10:00 am to 6:30 pm on a rotational basis with the rest of the team.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentOne (1) or more years shipping experience within a distribution warehouse environmentSkills:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailComputer skills- Microsoft Office SuiteStrong reading skillsStrong number recognition skillsGood basic math skillsGood understanding of basic warehousingCertificates, licenses, training, or other job-related requirements:Valid WI Drivers LicenseNo current restrictions prohibiting lifting up to 50 lbsCurrent Forklift Operators License preferredUS Bureau of Industry & Security Training for licensing of exports via AES preferredRLWS is a successful, energetic, customer-driven organization that offers competitive wages, great working conditions, medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, disability, life, 200 hours of PTO, holidays, 401k, and wellness benefit programs.
