Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) certification required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification required
• At least two years recent experience in field required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care delivery.
• Evaluate patients' progress towards health outcomes.
• Provide health information and learning opportunities for patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
