Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Family Law and Criminal Defense, with a passion for advocating on behalf of clients facing complex legal challenges. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and the chance to work alongside a team of seasoned attorneys. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Alabama.

Responsibilities:

Family Law Representation:
- Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and domestic violence cases.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
Criminal Defense Advocacy:
- Defend clients facing criminal charges, ranging from misdemeanors to felonies.
- Conduct legal analysis, prepare defense strategies, and represent clients in court.
- Negotiate with prosecutors and attend hearings to achieve favorable outcomes.
Client Communication:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of legal processes and options to clients.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior attorneys and legal support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective legal strategy.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the firm's continued success.
