As a Security Officer Driver Vehicle Patrol in Richmond, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, parking areas, loading zones, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials in accordance with site policies, and assist with visitor processing, package-related observations, and other security-related support needs at the location.
• Support a professional presence within a fast-paced technology-focused location by communicating clearly, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
