As our network of ASCs continues to grow, we are actively recruiting a Registered Nurse to join our talented and compassionate perioperative care team. Crowne Point Surgery Center in Flint, Michigan is one of Blue Cloud’s multispecialty centers. Our team supports both pediatric patients undergoing dental procedures and adult patients undergoing outpatient gastrointestinal procedures, with a shared focus on safety, quality, comfort, and exceptional patient experience. YOU WILL Provide safe, compassionate preoperative nursing care for pediatric and adult patients in the ambulatory surgery center setting Assess, monitor, and document each patient’s status upon arrival to the recovery area and throughout the post-anesthesia recovery process Deliver individualized nursing care based on patient age, procedure type, surgical or gastrointestinal condition, and anesthesia plan Monitor pediatric and adult patients during the intraoperative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) periods, promptly communicating observed changes or complications to the appropriate dentist, physician, gastroenterologist, surgeon, or anesthesia provider YOU HAVE Requirements + Qualifications Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire) GI/endoscopy experience strongly valued Pediatric experience strongly valued Preferred Bachelor's degree in nursing Previous ICU, perioperative, PACU, endoscopy, or ambulatory surgery center experience BENEFITS Work with a passionate, dedicated, and talented team in a growing organization committed to doing good Health insurance, Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts, disability coverage and additional voluntary plans based on employment status 401k plan, including company match for full time employees Paid Time Off for full and part-time employees, sick time for PRN employees Medical specialties: Ambulatory surgery Pediatric dental surgery Physical setting: Ambulatory surgery center Standard shift: Day shift Blue Cloud is an equal opportunity employer.
