Doctor of Medicine | Maternal-Fetal Medicine Location: Mechanicsville, VA Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The successful candidate will manage a patient panel comprised of 95% high-risk pregnancies. Clinical responsibilities include performing amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling, and managing complex conditions such as pre-eclampsia, multiple gestations, growth restriction, and various genetic disorders. You will work alongside a robust support staff including an RN clinic educator, sonographers, a genetic counselor, and a Nurse Practitioner who rotates between sites. Documentation is performed using EPIC and Viewpoint, and the clinic is equipped with GE 10 ultrasound technology. Qualifications & Credentialing Board Certified or Board Eligible: Maternal Fetal Medicine is required. Fellowship Training: Completion of a Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship is required. Licensure: A valid Virginia medical license is required. Certifications: Current BLS is required; AIUM Certification is preferred. Clinical Skills: Proficiency in vaginal and cesarean births and managing maternal co-morbidities. Experience with cerclage is preferred.
