Human Resources Generalist

von Briesen & Roper, s.c. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our Milwaukee offic e. This position supports a broad range of day-to-day HR functions, projects and initiatives and serves as a trusted resource to employees and managers across the Firm. We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented HR professional who exercises sound judgement, values accuracy and confidentiality, and can independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment. Key Responsibilities Recruitment: Manage recruitment activities for assigned positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication. Onboarding: Coordinate new hire onboarding, documentation, orientation activities and related processes. Wellness & HR Programming: Support and coordinate Firm wellness initiatives, employee programs and activities, including communications, participation efforts and new initiatives that promote employee well-being and engagement. Benefits Administration: Support benefit enrollments and changes, invoice review and reconciliation, and employee benefit questions. Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a resource for employee questions and workplace matters and support employee engagement, culture initiatives and consistent application of Firm policies. HRIS & Reporting: Maintain employee records and HRIS data, process employee changes and prepare HR reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. At least five years of broad Human Resources experience. Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment-related processes. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated discretion, sound judgement and ability to handle confidential information. Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
