Note
Candidates must have 2 years of practicing attorney experience including 1 years of commercial lending banking transactions or loan documentation experience. A JD from an accredited law school strong academic credentials and active bar admission in Maryland Virginia Delaware DC or Pennsylvania are required. We welcome qualified candidates from law firms in-house legal teams and solo practices.

Job Description
- Represent banks and financial institutions in commercial lending transactions from initial structuring through closing.
- Draft review and negotiate loan agreements promissory notes security agreements guaranties and related financing documents.
- Manage due diligence UCC filings collateral reviews and closing documentation.
- Handle loan modifications refinancing transactions amendments and forbearance agreements.
- Work directly with lenders borrowers counsel and internal teams to move transactions forward efficiently.
- Advise clients on transaction structures documentation risks and commercial lending matters.
- Collaborate with creditors rights and litigation attorneys on loan workouts and complex financial matters.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active bar admission in MD VA DE DC or PA.
- 2 years of practicing attorney experience.
- 1 years of commercial lending banking transactions or loan documentation experience.
- Strong transactional drafting negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and work effectively with clients.
- Law firm experience preferred; qualified in-house and solo practitioners welcome.
