The Communications Specialist – IT supports internal communications for Textron Information Services (TIS), partnering with IT stakeholders to turn complex technology initiatives into clear, engaging messages that drive awareness, understanding, and adoption. The role supports enterprise technology and Corporate initiatives—including collaboration tools, security programs, and digital transformation efforts—across channels such as the intranet, email, Microsoft 365, digital signage, and live or virtual events. Responsibilities Support departmental and local communications that engage employees and reinforce business priorities, including:Develop department messaging and content for electronic display boards, Viva Engage and the intranetSupport regular All Hands Meetings for the TIS function Partner with TIS stakeholders to communicate enterprise initiatives to IT professionals across Textron’s business units.
