Night Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a dedicated education unit, primarily responsible for providing care to Med/Surg patients. The nurse will be involved in patient care without the responsibility of educating other staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a mixed population of Med/Surg patients on a 30-bed unit.


• Maintain patient ratios of 5-6:1.


• Administer medications and maintain accurate patient records.


• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Exhibit positive attitude and timely communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting.


• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
