Job Overview
We are seeking a full time or part time motivated and dependable CDL A Driver for Construction Equipment Delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine skilled truck driving with customer service and equipment management. As a vital link in our operations, you will be responsible for delivering rental equipment across various routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries, while also assisting customers with equipment rentals and returns.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks, including flatbeds, and tractor-trailers for delivery and pickup of equipment.
• Load and unload equipment efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Deliver rental equipment to clients on scheduled routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Assist customers with rental transactions, providing excellent service by explaining equipment features and answering questions.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for all equipment dispatched or returned.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and trailers, reporting any issues promptly for repair or servicing.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record.
• Preferred, a delivery driver with a focus on route driving and load & unload procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely for loading/unloading equipment when necessary.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks as needed. Join us in delivering excellence! On Job training will be provided if candidate does not possess all necessary skills for our field of work.

Wage: Depends on Experience

Minimum: $25.00 per hour

Maximum: $40.00 per hour
