Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a casual/per diem position at its Salisbury, Maryland location. The role involves collecting blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques, processing specimens, managing patient data, and providing customer service across varying weekday and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Process specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and prepare for testing
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Handle billing information collection and process payments as needed
- Provide customer service and travel to additional sites when required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven exceptional customer service track record
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass color blindness test
Compensation: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour
