Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum 1 Year Required License: Valid State License Required Certifications: Not Specified Must-Have: Must be willing to float to meet facility needs Description: Postpartum experience preferred. First-time travelers are welcome. Weekend availability is required to meet staffing needs. The average daily census is between 15-20 patients. There are 11 rooms with a capacity of 15 beds. Registered Nurses will circulate during cesarean sections. Experience with high-risk OB is beneficial. Culturally diverse populations are served. Refusal to float to other facilities may lead to termination of the assignment. It is important to commit to working three of the five major holidays. Candidates must respond to specific questions prior to consideration for the position. References covering at least one year of experience are required. All requests for time off must be made upfront during submission. Travelers may expect to float between nearby facilities. Failure to comply with scheduled requests may affect contract status. Communication devices will be provided for work-related use at no cost to the employee. Travelers must complete essential modules prior to starting the position. Time spent on the modules is self-reported and recorded.
