Business Development Specialist (Home Care)

Role Description The Business Development Specialist (Home Care) is a full-time, on-site role based in Schaumburg, IL. This position focuses on growing the home care client base through proactive outreach, relationship building, and community engagement with healthcare providers, referral sources, and local organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting market research to understand local trends and competitor activity, and developing strategies to increase brand visibility. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs, provide timely follow-up to inquiries, and deliver a high level of customer service to prospective and current clients. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, and participating in events and presentations that promote A Place At Home - Schaumburg in the community. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust with clients, families, and referral partners. Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify opportunities and inform effective growth strategies. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance, and support decision-making. Experience in home care, healthcare, or senior services is beneficial, along with familiarity with local Schaumburg, IL community resources. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage time effectively, and meet business development targets. Comfort with using CRM tools, standard office software, and reporting systems to document activities and outcomes.
