School Nutrition Head Cashier

Oversees the day to day financial duties in the cafeteria.

High school diploma/GED.

Experience working with a diverse group of people.

Must be able to provide a criminal background check with results that adhere to Bulloch County Board of Education Policy GAK(1).

Cashier experience.

Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Keeps accurate and up-to-date records and financial accounts; submits reports in line with schedule.

Ensures that the collection and accountability procedures for meals served are accurate and current.

Ensures that all money collected is accounted for and an audit trail is available at any time for review.

Assists with any food preparation.

Assists the manager with marketing the program by helping with promotions, bulletin boards, banners, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be able to perform task involving lifting (5-45 pounds), carrying, pushing, and pulling.

Ability to maintain, on a regular and consistent basis, relationships that are characterized by high expectations, teamwork, and collaboration. Ability to be flexible relative to daily routines. Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the differences among diverse populations.

Ability to produce quality work when short or unexpected deadlines are presented. Performance will be evaluated annually by the School Nutrition Manager or designated supervisor in accordance with Policy GBI - Evaluation of Personnel.
