We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a manufacturing client in the Batavia NY area. This position is responsible for inspecting parts, identifying quality issues, and ensuring products meet customer and print specifications.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a manufacturing client in the Batavia NY area. This position is responsible for inspecting parts, identifying quality issues, and ensuring products meet customer and print specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and first-piece inspections.
- Inspect parts using micrometers, optical comparators, plug/thread gages, microscopes, and other measuring tools.
- Program and operate CMM equipment.
- Identify and investigate defective or nonconforming parts.
- Maintain inspection, testing, and calibration records.
- Complete PPAP dimensional layouts and inspection plans.
- Assist with process audits, dock audits, GP-12, and Safe Launch activities.
- Support product containment and sorting activities.
- Support IATF 16949 and ISO quality and safety standards.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of quality inspection experience required.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with CMM, PPAP, metrology, and gage calibration required.
- Ability to read prints and use precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PC-DMIS and/or Calypso preferred.
