About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Product Management and Engineering to take on a newly created, commercially-minded leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the product strategy, portfolio management, and the New Product Introduction (NPI) process across the full brand portfolio. This includes working closely with sales, marketing, and the Chief Commercial Officer to align market and customer requirements with a coordinated product roadmap. The VP will also partner with engineering, quality, operations, and sourcing to set technical direction and ensure that products are manufacturable and meet performance, durability, and quality standards. The role demands a leader who can centralize and standardize the product catalog, portfolio management, and NPI stage-gate methodology, and who has a strong background in NPI/PLM within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in product management, product strategy, or NPI/PLM leadership, with at least 5 years' in a leadership capacity. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field is required, with a preference for an advanced degree. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including knowledge of NPI/PLM stage-gate methodology, multi-brand product portfolio management, and familiarity with CAD/PLM systems and precision manufacturing processes. Leadership skills are essential, including the ability to build structure and process in a multi-system environment and strong cross-functional influence.
