Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Arizona, or eligibility for licensure
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates passionate about pediatric care are encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to contribute to goal development and progress reporting
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, faculty, and families effectively
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and adjust treatment plans within the educational context
• Flexibility and creativity in addressing physical and mobility challenges for students of all ages

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and deliver direct and consultative services to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents to develop and implement interventions that support educational success
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
• Participate in meetings and professional development to stay current with best practices and requirements
• Advocate for student needs by recommending environmental modifications and appropriate equipment
