Ravenswood, Chicago, IL Schedule: 3–4 days per week in office Portfolio Required: Candidates must provide samples of graphic design, social media, and content creation work. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly creative and design-driven Social Media Manager to oversee the digital presence and personal brands of Rate Loan Officers across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms. This is a hands-on creative and strategic role where graphic design, content creation, and social media growth are key responsibilities. The ideal candidate can take an idea from concept to finished product, develop strategies that drive growth, and use performance data to continuously improve content. The role will also support personal brand development and custom logo creation. Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimize multiple Loan Officer social media profiles across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. Develop and execute social media strategies designed to grow reach, engagement, audience, and overall brand presence. Design and produce high-quality social media content , including static graphics, carousels, Reels, thumbnails, and other digital assets. Develop creative concepts and visual identities for Loan Officers, including logos, templates, color palettes, typography, and overall brand direction. Create and edit engaging short-form video content and repurpose content across platforms. Develop and manage content calendars aligned with each Loan Officer’s goals, personal brand, and overall social strategy. Write engaging, on-brand social media copy and contribute to creative campaigns and content ideas. Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, using performance insights to identify what’s working, what needs to change, and opportunities for growth. Stay current on social media trends, platform changes, and best practices to identify new opportunities for content and growth. Provide creative direction and social media guidance to Loan Officers when needed. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in social media management, graphic design, content creation, or a related creative role. Strong graphic design skills are required. Portfolio demonstrating graphic design, social media content, branding, and/or logo development is required. Advanced Canva skills are required ; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus. Strong understanding of social media strategy, analytics, reporting, and performance measurement. Ability to interpret social media data and turn insights into actionable content and growth strategies. Strong understanding of major social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices. Experience creating and editing short-form video content. Strong creative writing and copywriting skills. Strong eye for design, typography, layout, composition, and branding. Highly organized and able to manage multiple brands, projects, and deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred. Mortgage industry experience is a plus, but not required.
