This dual-role position offers the chance to work with a prestigious clientele while managing both vessel operations and onboard systems in some of the world's most sought-after destinations.Key Responsibilities:Safely command a yacht up to 200GT, ensuring compliance with international and local maritime regulations.Manage yacht operations and itineraries tailored to the unique preferences of fractional owners in the designated region. Oversee all aspects of yacht maintenance and onboard engineering systems, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety, luxury, and operational efficiency.Lead and manage a professional crew, fostering a service-oriented environment. Coordinate logistics, including provisioning, budget management, overseeing refits or repairs, and managing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of vessel systems.Represent the company with professionalism and always maintain discretion.Qualifications:Valid USCG 200GT license or equivalent certification required.Experience with MTU engines/ Northern lights generators Experience working with Payroll and Management Company Proven experience as a captain on luxury yachts of similar size.Expertise in operating yachts in one or more of the following regions: Florida, Caribbean, or Bahamas.Strong leadership and crew management skills.Commitment to safety, environmental standards, and delivering exceptional service.Must be able to clear an extensive background check.Preferred Skills:Strong familiarity with yacht engineering systems, preventative maintenance, and modern onboard technology.Y3 or Y4 Engineering license.Luxury Charter experience is a plus.Multilingual abilities are a strong advantage.Primus Yachting is an Equal Opportunity Employer
