Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Quality Control Lab Technician in the Cosmetic Industry or in any Manufacturing Industries. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, be reliable, work in a Laboratory environment and a team player. This role also provides support to R&D by assisting with lab-based product testing and ensuring that new formulations meet quality standards during development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Quality Control Test and Approvals on Bulk Products from Compounding
• Perform daily cleaning and equipment calibrations
• Test Finished Goods if applicable
• Obtain and test raw material samples if needed
• Assist in testing stability samples if needed
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other departments to complete tasks
• Adjust Finished Goods batches to meet specification ranges
• General analysis using Lab instruments
• Assist in preparing samples for clients, shipping or in house testing
• Support R&D during pilot batches and new product testing by performing quality checks and providing data to ensure development samples meet standards
• Report Safety Issues if needed
• Manage and maintain cleanliness in QC Lab bench

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lab Technician inCosmetic or manufacturing Industry
• College Degree in Chemistry or Any Science related Courses preferred but not required
• Excellent work ethic and highly self-motivated
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have organizational and analytical skills, with ability to follow directions
• Able to follow all general lab policies and adhere to lab safety practices
• Strong Mathematical Skills
• Knowledge of standard cGMP regulations
• Experience working with R&D or product development teams is a plus
