Tarboro Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a dedicated, reliable and compassionate individual to join our housekeeping team! We are a family-friendly team, looking for a dedicated individual to join our team.  We are currently seeking a Full-Time Laundry Aide!

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Remove and dispose of trash and relieve laundry staff as needed, and perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Interact appropriately with residents, clients, other personnel, your supervisor and the public.
• Respond to customer preferences, comply with industry and federal and state guidelines, and meet the needs of residents.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure that a sanitary environment is maintained. Follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures/techniques.  
• Wash, dry fold and hang laundry
• Label residents' clothing
• Return residents' laundry within 8 to 24 hours
• Daily cleaning the laundry department, sanitizing the washers and dryers, emptying the trash, sweep and mop

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required- experience in housekeeping or healthcare settings is preferred. Excellent customer service skills are a must.
