Principal Platform Engineer

To design and operate distributed systems for a multi-tenant AI inference platform, the full-time Principal Platform Engineer will manage control-plane services, orchestration systems, and fleet-management infrastructure, with options for hybrid or remote work arrangements. Key responsibilities Own and manage distributed control-plane systems for tenant clusters and inference workloads across multiple data center sites Build and operate multi-tenant Kubernetes at bare-metal scale, including lifecycle management and automated server provisioning Develop platform APIs and state-management services that integrate provisioning, orchestration, and capacity management Required qualifications BS in Computer Science or related STEM field, with 5+ years of relevant experience or 7+ years of equivalent professional experience Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and experience operating Kubernetes as a platform Proficiency in Go and/or Python, with experience in writing controllers and automation tools Hands-on experience with Linux servers in bare-metal and virtualized environments, including full provisioning lifecycle automation Experience with Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and CI/CD for infrastructure and platform services
