Medical Records ClerkWe are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team. This role involves data scanning, tracking documents, and ensuring regulatory compliance with Plans of Care components. You will also assist with quarterly payor audits and collaborate with leadership to audit and analyze performance trends in POC accuracy.ResponsibilitiesPerform data scanning and document tracking to maintain accurate records.Ensure regulatory compliance with Plans of Care components.Assist with quarterly payor audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.Collaborate with leadership to audit and analyze performance trends in Plans of Care accuracy.Essential SkillsProficiency in data entry and filing medical records.Experience with Excel and managing documents.Knowledge of healthcare, electronic health records, and medical record software.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to comprehend clinical policies and articulate health record information requirements.Ability to prioritize duties and meet strict deadlines.Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and a willingness to learn new information technology.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience in managing documents is beneficial.Work EnvironmentThis position is set in an office environment supporting home infusion and pharmacy. The role requires working within tight timeframes and meeting strict deadlines.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
