Junior Full Stack Developer

Full Time Greater Boston Area The Company Our client is a global Private Equity firm based in Boston. The firm invests in all types of private equity funds, including venture capital and leveraged buyout funds in addition to directly in operating companies. Company Perks and Rewards Base salary ranging from $140,000 + 30% Bonus Benefits, 401K, PTO Hybrid work model (4 days in office) Career development and growth potential Relocation package available The Role The Jr Full Stack Developer will work closely with Product Teams to discuss and refine product requirements. This is a hands‑on role covering both front‑end and back‑end development, with a stronger emphasis on the back end‑troubleshooting, fine‑tuning, and optimizing the product across the full stack. The ideal candidate thinks beyond the code itself: understanding the end user’s problem, the business context behind what’s being built, and how each piece fits into the broader product goal. This role requires someone who can work independently, take initiative to work through ambiguity, and refine solutions without needing every detail handed to them. What you Bring Experience building external, customer‑facing products- not purely internal tools. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with Product Teams to discuss and refine requirements. Ability to think independently, take initiative, and troubleshoot across the full stack- front end and back end. A genuine interest in the business itself- understanding the end user’s perspective and how technology solves a real customer problem, not just writing code. Sharp critical thinking- someone who looks for the limitations and implications of what they build, and can clearly articulate their reasoning. Experience working with sensitive and large-volume data, where data itself is central to the product. Your Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Python and React; candidates strong in Java with Spring REST are also a fit if Python is not a primary strength Backend-leaning full stack profile- comfortable troubleshooting and optimizing across both front-end and back-end code Experience working with sensitive and/or high-volume data environmentsStrong, concise communicator who can work directly with Product Teams to discuss and refine requirements Genuine interest in the business side of the product understands the end user’s problem and the "why" behind what’s being built, not just the "how" #J-18808-Ljbffr Options Consulting Solutions
