In this role, you will be able to make an immediate impact on systems where reliability and safety are mission-critical, work in a fast-paced Agile environment, and shape and improve test strategy, automation, and verification for cutting-edge defense software.Position Responsibilities:Leads a group of software verification engineers responsible for design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality.Designs test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications.Execute test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes including formal qualification testing of all software.Provides test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities.Develops and maintains automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/ Experience)Bachelor’s DegreeAbility to Obtain U.S. Secret – Final Post Start & Special Program Access5+ years of experience working in an Agile Software Development Environment5+ years of experience of Python development experience5+ years of experience using software testing frameworks such as GoogleTest and other end-to-end testing frameworks5+ years of experience in DevSecOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and executionPreferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience)Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 9+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 13+ years of directly related work experience OR 17+ years of related, relevant experienceActive U.S. Secret Security Clearance Knowledge of specification format requirements, guidelines, and change control processes.
