Public Health Educators are dedicated to improving community and individual health by providing knowledge about health practices, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. At the Seneca County Health Department our education staff work with our nurses, Environmental Health staff, Early Intervention Program staff, and leadership to design, promote, implement, and evaluate health education programs for individuals and the community. Every day brings fresh opportunities for learning and growth while working alongside a dedicated team of public health professionals. Additionally, opportunities exist to become an integral part of our emergency preparedness response planning, to receive certifications in areas such as child passenger safety (CPS) and Naloxone administration, and so much more!
