Title Accountant Summary To support the operations of our credit union clients through performing back-office tasks related to clients’ member accounts. This individual will be the liaison between our credit union clients and MiCUSO Duties Process exceptions and returns for ACH transactions and checks pertaining to member accounts Ensure timely posting of wires, remote deposit, insurance payments, and dealer reserves based on assigned credit unions Monitor assigned email inboxes, phones, messaging channels, and intranets for associated credit union communication Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts daily, ensuring they are current and in balance. Post accurate and timely general ledger entries. Ensure invoices and other expense items are saved for timely processing Printing checks and/or sending out invoice payments Answer member questions, whether directly or indirectly through credit union staff Performs other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in the financial services industry is required. Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines High School graduate or equivalent is required. Two-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
