Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianBeMore Staffing is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for temp and temp-to-hire positions at apartment communities throughout the area. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in apartment maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. Candidates with HVAC experience or EPA certification are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include performing general maintenance tasks, including basic electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, carpentry, masonry, and painting. Repair and maintain building structures, such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and exterior areas. Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, residents, and team members. Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests. Prepare units for new move-ins, ensuring all standards are met. Complete annual preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled. May help assist with grounds as needed. Assist with special projects as assigned by management.Requirements include HVAC certification preferred but not required (EPA certification is a plus). Minimum of 6 months of maintenance experience in an apartment community or similar environment. Working knowledge of HVAC systems, with the ability to maintain, repair, or replace systems preferred. Valid driver's license or reliable transportation required. Must be able to pass a background check. Possess basic hand tools necessary to perform daily maintenance tasks. Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
