About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers must have 2 years of experience in Cath Lab License: Active license required; pending license accepted if active by start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Candidates must float to Interventional Radiology if needed. Must participate in on-call rotation. Candidates must live more than 50 miles away from the facility. Candidates must complete required modules within one week of signing. Description: Position: Cath Lab RN Shift: 5 x 8s with a start time of 07:00. A late start time of 08:00 will be required one day per week. On-call requirement is one night per week and every fourth weekend. Candidates will be assigned to Interventional Radiology if needed or if the Cath Lab case load is low. Participation in late and on-call mandate rotation list is required. Holiday on-call may be required as needed by the department. Years of experience required: 1 year of travel experience in Cath Lab. First-time travelers will be considered, but they are required to have 2 years of experience in Cath Lab. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS. Preferred certification: NIHSS. Only travelers will be accepted; locals cannot apply. Candidates must be able to operate independently with a team of three people per room, if available. Three-person call team is in place. Scrub color is provided—blue. Candidates must be willing to float based on facility census and staffing needs. Unprofessional behavior or attendance issues may result in immediate contract termination. Modules time is to be self-reported and is billable for up to 8 hours. Average completion time for modules is between 3 to 8 hours.
