This position will be fully remote within the United States, with the office located in Fairfax, VA. The candidate may have to visit the Fairfax office multiple times a year.ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing timely and accurate financial reporting deliverables including program trend analysis, variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts and monthly reporting for executive managementSupport Senior Financial Analyst in managing large program with multiple task orders and contribute to quarterly forecasts and annual operating budgetsProvide foundational analysis of key program drivers, risks, and opportunitiesPrepare data and analysis to support program operational reviewsSupport the program month-end close process including cost accruals, revenue recognition and expense reviewsMonitor subcontracting spending and assist with subcontractor voucher approvalsCollaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and other corporate back-office departments to support program operationsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's with 2-5 years (or commensurate experience)2-5 years in Finance role (Program Finance, Project Control and/or Financial Planning and Analysis)Foundational understanding of Government Contracting concepts and basic familiarity with CAS, FAR, and GAAP principlesProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas); advanced skills are a plus but not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay information clearlySelf-motivated team contributor with willingness to learn and growFamiliarity with common contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Type) is helpful but not essentialCandidate may be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoW security clearance; U.S. citizenship is requiredPreferred Skills and ExperienceExposure to Deltek Costpoint, TM1 Forecasting software, or Cognos ReportingExperience managing OCONUS programs is a plus but not requiredActive DoW clearance is a plus but not requiredPosted Salary RangeUSD $60,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.Company OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
