Description

• Craft tailored treatment plans that balance immediate goals with long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing aspirations.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families, to ensure integrated care.
• Educate patients and their families to empower progress beyond the therapy room.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to promote seamless care continuity.
• Maintain precise documentation adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in continuous education and peer networking to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
