The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex. This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground up. Skills to include: panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Power Electronic assemblies.Shift A: Mon - Fri (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)Work Authorization: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.Job SummaryIndustrial Engineering Technician II supports the Industrial Engineering team in planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining integrated production and service delivery systems that drive performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency within the manufacturing site. The primary focus of this role is assisting with production layout and process improvements, as well as maintaining and entering data in Industrial Engineering systems.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of an area for a line move or process changeUpdate the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB), as directed by the Industrial EngineerUpdate/Create production Visuals, as directed by the Industrial EngineerOrder, receive and validate tooling, as directed by the Industrial EngineerInsure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional and site directionSupport the Lean organization by maintaining a solid process foundation and data integrity in order to support process improvement through the organizationComply and follow all procedures within the company security policyMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsHigh School diplomaUnderstanding and application of broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, etc.)Eye for detail when updating systemsBasic analytical abilityBasic communication skillsProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD skills required.The hourly pay range for this role is $21.73 - $39.13.
