Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide med/surg level nursing care to patients 18 years of age and older
• Operate within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 50-bed medical unit
• Utilize unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Work various shift lengths and days as required; flexibility is essential
• Float to surgical, pediatric, or transitional care units as needed
• Complete department-specific training and orientation during the first week of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg or higher level of care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work flexible schedules including variable shift lengths and days
• Professional nursing attire and closed-toe shoes required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
