Description We are looking for a Part‑Time Banquet House Person to join our Banquets team at Le Méridien Chicago - Oakbrook Center. Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest, including transportation of staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc., from storage to meeting rooms. Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water. Break down all meeting rooms after meetings and return items to storage closet for the next function. Maintain the established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms remain presentable at all times. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned. Qualifications You have a self‑starting personality and an even disposition. You can communicate well with guests and are willing to “pitch‑in” and help co‑workers. You can withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking and can lift at least 50 lbs. You are looking for a flexible job that allows you to work a variety of different shifts and weekends.
