Direct Support Professional - Idd Job Location: US-NC-KANNAPOLIS Salary: USD $14.00 - $14.50 per hour. Overview We are looking for someone with Wednesday afternoon availability. All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home-like setting. Foster positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support. Encourage self-help activities. Implement Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plan. Manage individuals’ behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression. Keep accurate daily documentation of activities, fire/disaster drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, goal and data tracking, and other documentation. Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments. Transport clients or run errands for clients. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. Pass background check. Driver’s license with valid auto insurance. High school diploma or GED.
