ANA is growing and scaling, and we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada. As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare financial reports to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays at 8:00–5:00 pm. This role reports to the Accounting Manager.Roles & ResponsibilitiesMaintains the general ledgerSales and use tax for multiple statesLease Accounting ASC842Allocate expenses to all departmentsRecord elimination entries for 2 entitiesPrepaid ScheduleCodes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and assist with month-end closingReconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banksVerifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accountsProvides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual auditReconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balancesPreparing financial statementsAssessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areasPerforming monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysesMaintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedulesMentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staffPerforms general accounting and other related duties in the accounting departmentOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required3-5+ years of accounting experience requiredExtensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accountingUnderstanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principlesHighly proficient with accounting softwareExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareWorking knowledge of tax laws and GAAPStrong financial analysis skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational and stress management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Intermediate Excel levelAbility to work with little to no supervisionANA's Core Values:Root Cause Problem SolvingBe Creative with SolutionsBuild open and honest relationshipsBuild a positive team and family spiritBe inclusiveLook for better waysBe humbleUrgencyBenefits & Perks:Competitive pay401k with company contributionMedical, Dental, & VisionLife InsuranceVoluntary Accident InsuranceVoluntary Critical Illness InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Appreciation Programs$84,000 - $102,000 a year The salary range for this role is $84,000 – $102,000 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions.
