Director Of Nursing (Don)Our Nursing Facility is currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Director of Nursing (DON) experience, and be a strong leader and customer service focused.Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing (DON):Provide care and services in a safe and efficient mannerEnsure quality performance and conformance with regulation and lawsParticipate in state/federal nursing home survey processWrite resultant plan of corrections and ensure they are carried outParticipate in the QA/CQI processPerforms/assigns completion of preadmission assessments on a timely basisProvides care as defined within the scope of the state's nurse practice actPrepares clinical and progress notes and summaries of careSupervises, educates and coaches other nursing personnel/care-giving staffPlans and implements in-service and training programsAssures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal lawsStays informed about changes in the field of nursingShares information with appropriate organization personnelRequirements of the Director of Nursing (DON):Registered Nurse licenseGraduate of an accredited nursing schoolAt least 2 years of DON experience is preferredSupervisory experience in Skilled Nursing Facility is requiredKnowledge of basic nursing skillsKnowledge of the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administeredNurse Management: 5 years10k sign on bonus for the right candidateIND123
