API Testing Engineer
Join our growing team working onsite in Madison, WI. We are seeking an API Testing Engineer with 5–6 years of overall experience, including 4+ years of hands-on API testing experience. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working in Agile environments, and the ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
Responsibilities:
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Utilize tools such as Jira, Xray, and Confluence for testing and collaboration activities.
- Work effectively within Agile testing environments.
- Analyze issues, identify root causes, and contribute to problem resolution.
- Function as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–6 years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of experience in API testing.
- Strong experience with API testing using Postman.
- Experience with Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile testing.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of GCP, automation, and database testing is an added advantage.
- Insurance domain knowledge is an added advantage.
