CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Unit Notes
PARKVIEW ITEMS OF NOTE:
- Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (reduction of regular bill rate by ***%; rate multipliers be applied to the reduced regular bill rate)
- Call off policy: Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13 week assignment
- Non-billable Orientation Hours: 8 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation, clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date will not be eligible for non-billable orientation

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Routine CT's and CTA's, Perfusion studies

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Philips Brilliance ICT 256, Client Apex, Siemens Force, EPIC, Philips portal, Sectra

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Independently perform exams on all age groups to include inpatient, ED, and outpatient. Minimum of 3 years experience preferred.


4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, CT specialty. BLS required


5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
The employee will not work alone and call will not be required. There is a weekend rotation of every 5-6 weeks.

6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)

7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
2 CT rooms in main department, 1 CT room in PHI

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
N/A

9. Dress Code:
Pewter Scrubs

10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
Attend Radiant Epic training (1 day), Essentials of Aggression Management training (1 day), and department specific orientation Monday - Friday 7a - 3:30p with a tech to learn equipment and protocols, approximately 2 weeks.
