Key Responsibilities\n

  • Develop and maintain trusting relationships with patients, creating a safe space for open dialogue and exploration of their mental health concerns.

  • Assess individual, couple, and family needs, utilizing comprehensive diagnostic techniques as part of ongoing treatment processes.

  • Create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the unique situations and perspectives of patients, targeting specific mental health disorders and personal growth goals.

  • Conduct regular therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) based on patient needs.

  • Implement regular evaluations of treatment effectiveness and modify treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Provide appropriate referrals to specialists and support services as necessary to enhance patient care and outcomes.

  • Engage in continuous professional development and collaborate in team meetings to discuss best practices and treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on individuals, couples, and families facing challenges in areas such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and more. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, taking an individualized approach to understand and address their unique circumstances and aspirations.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • \n
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in addiction counseling or specialized training in that area.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

  • Previous experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
