Role Overview Provides Role Overview Provides physical therapy interventions to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) . Assists in monitoring patient progress, documenting care, and modifying treatments within the scope of practice. Works in diverse settings, including patients’ homes and care facilities, using appropriate equipment and ensuring infection control standards. Key Responsibilities Follow established PT care plans and educate patients and caregivers. Assist in monitoring patient progress and communicate with supervising PT. Manage an assigned caseload and deliver therapy services as directed. Participate in team meetings, training, and special projects. Travel to patient locations, assist with therapeutic activities, transfers, and use of medical equipment. Ensure care complies with policies, standards, and infection control protocols. Qualifications & Skills New York State Physical Therapist Assistant certification. Minimum of two years clinical experience. Possession of valid driver’s license may be required.
